90's Nostalgia

Posted by foxypanda69 - April 8th, 2011

So lately I have been cranking my shitty computer speakers up as loud as I can to Ace of Base Radio on Pandora. I also noticed I have been playing a lot of Marathon, Duke Nukem, and SNES emulators. My clothing style has also changed, (see image below).

Am I transforming backwards?

I liked the 90's too.

There was just something magical about it...

After the nineties: hip-hop/rap degraded into autotuning, which joined forces with pop. Rock all but vanished from sight. A president with an amusing sex life got replaced with a former president's son (that's never good news, historically) and a socialist (that's almost never good news, historically), in that order. Computer geniuses were drained after y2k and haven't made very great strides in computer capabilities since then. North Korea resumed belligerency while Sudan decided two smaller countries would be a better idea. The Dalai Lama gave up trying to lead Tibet to freedom. Pope John Paul II, wildly popular for a modern religious figure, kicked the bucket and left his followers with some evil looking guy. Iowa approved gay marriage while politicians tried to ban gambling. And then the government almost fucking shut down.

Word.

you arent transforming backwards unless you look like the guy on the far left

shit...

I have no 90s references, although I did like the fresh prince of bel -air
